Year 6 Trip to the
Colne Valley

On Friday 6th October the children from Miss Bunton's class visited the Colne Valley Railway.

It was a Victorian day and the children had to dress up in costume.

They looked terrific, as these photos will show

In Victorian times people who mis-behaved were put into the stocks.

We thought it would be a good idea for some children if this idea were brought back at Wyburns.

Rotten eggs anyone?

On board the Royal Train we even bumped into Queen Victoria herself.

She is still in mourning following the death of Prince Albert last year.

And we saw a real steam engine
