SUMMER  FAYRE
The Summer Fayre is nearly here and the PTA are very busy organizing the final details. The PTA are still looking for volunteers to set up on the morning, and run a stall. Please leave your name at the office if you are able to help.
There will be plenty of stalls and activities to entertain all the family, including inflatables, pony rides, face painting and live performances from ASK Club, Line Dancing and Judo Club.
The fun starts at 1.00pm and hopefully the sun will shine. Remember all the money raised will be used to benefit the children at Wyburns, we look forward to seeing you on the day.

JUNIOR SUMMER CONCERT
The Junior children are very busy practising for the popular Summer Concert. The concert takes place on Tuesday 7th July and starts at 1.45pm. Parents with children in the juniors are very welcome to attend, at present we can offer two tickets per family. You are welcome to ask for extra tickets on the day. Tickets are available from Monday 29th June from the office. We hope you will be able to join us for a musical afternoon.

TICKETS FOR SALE
Adventure Island tickets are on sale for the discounted price of £11.00 each. The tickets are available from Heidi Hayes or the school office. They will also be on sale at The Summer Fayre. A great idea for a day out in the summer holidays.
The school also has details of activities which are available during the holidays, you are welcome to pop in to the foyer and pick up some leaflets. Not ensuring a stress free holiday, but every little helps!

DISTRICT SPORTS
A selection of children represented Wyburns at the district sports on Tuesday at Garons Sports Centre. The children were magnificent, and Wyburns came second out of five local schools. A great achievement and well done to all the children who took part.

THANK YOU
Many thanks to the volunteers who braved the rain to top up the adventure playground surface with wood chips, and repair the edging. A gold star and BIG thank you to Mr Keating, Mr Orchard and Mr Bucknell.

REMINDER
Please remember to check your child for head lice on a regular basis. There have been a few cases at the school, and early treatment is always best.

WELL DONE
Congratulations to Megan Hayes who achieved 3rd place in the Bury 4 piece gymnastics competition.
