 END OF TERM
The children break up for their summer holiday on Tuesday 22nd July at 3.15pm. The school year has been very busy, and we hope your child has enjoyed all the activities and clubs that have been taking place during the year. The year six children had a lovely week at Caythorpe, and returned with some lovely memories.
We wish all the children in year six every success as they move on to their secondary schools. Please keep in touch; we are always very pleased to know how our past pupils are progressing. The school would also like to welcome the parents and children who will be starting school for the first time in September. We hope you all settle in, and enjoy your time at Wyburns.
And, as always at this time of year we have staff leaving, and two teachers joining the school in September. We wish Mrs Taylor, Miss Rudkin and Mrs Bentley every success in their new jobs, and we look forward to welcoming Mrs Harrison and Miss Fagence to Wyburns.
We hope to welcome you back to a shiny new school entrance, and offices on Tuesday 2nd September. And finally we wish you all a very happy and safe summer holiday, let’s hope the sun will shine!

GENERATION GREEN
Wyburns has joined Generation Green a new programme from British Gas to highlight green issues for children.
During the year the school will be taking part in green tasks to encourage everyone to save energy and cut carbon emissions. Tasks can be as simple as making sure lights are switched off. Children can be encouraged at home to save energy, and help to cut those energy bills. For more information please visit the Generation Green website at:
www.generationgreen.co.uk
Thank you for your support.

ADVENTURE ISLAND
Due to popular demand Heidi Hayes has managed to purchase extra Adventure Island tickets. The tickets cost £11.00 each, and are valid for one visit. Please contact Heidi or pop in to the office.

COLOURTHAN WALK
Many thanks to the following Wyburns mums; Jan Mullins, Claire Allison, Nicola Powell, Justine Coughlan and Asna Butt-Alam. The ladies took part in The Colourthan Charity Walk and raised a magnificent total of £750.00 for Wyburns PTA.
Many thanks for all your hard work, the school is very grateful for the donation.

REMINDERS….Please don’t forget to pay your music fees by the end of term.

Please come and look in the lost property box if your child has lost any uniform recently.

WELL DONE
Many thanks to Matthew Hayward for his honesty. Matthew handed in a £1.00 which he found in the playground.
